Cold War Memorial

Our squad has the Cold War Memorial as our first stop. This monument is for the sailors on the 41 subs built between 1960 and 1966. They carry half our nation's nuclear weapons because they can be mobile, hidden and move anywhere with long range nuclear weapons ready for launch at any time. Each sub carries enough firepower to completely level an entire continent. That's more than all of the firepower expended by all forces during all of WWII on each individual's sub! All of the subs combined have enough firepower to destiny the world 8 times over!
