Reveille and Morning PT

Reveille was at 6 am and that meant crawling through  the bunking area in the dark so as not to disturb the other campers onboard. On the girl side at least many were up as early as 4:30 to get ready in the teeny dark bathrooms.

The beds were hard and plastic and it was pretty rough sleeping," said Caset Bryson.

Also overheard last night as kids prepped for bed: "at least I know now that living on a ship is not something I would enjoy!"

For the morning PT today the cadets did kathestenics and stretches on the hangar deck of the ship.

"It was different because we didn't do what we normally do in class. It was way different than usual doing PT on an aircraft carrier!" said cadets Houston and Durk.
